Twenty-Five Goldbacks

The Twenty-Five Goldbacks is a popular product from Goldback Inc, and it contains 1/40th of a Troy Ounce of 24 karat gold.  The gold is vacuum deposited between two layers of polymer film to provide a lasting exchange of value.  The Twenty-Five Goldbacks measures 2 9/16 x 6 1/8 in (6.3 x 15.5 cm) in size.  The front face is printed and serialized, the back polymer has no printing so the gold is directly visible.

Goldbacks are great as a voluntary local means of exchange (technically a thin rectangular gold coin).  Goldbacks are not backed by any entity and stand on the merit of their gold content, flexibility, embedded security features, and ease of use for individuals and businesses.
