LED Sign USB Adapter - USB to RS232 Serial Port Converter

This USB adapter cable converts a PC's USB port to a Serial port.  Many new computers do not have 9-pin RS232 serial ports, and instead have USB ports.  When you combine this USB adapter cable with our serial cable, you can use any PC with a USB port to control any Asayo LED sign.  Here is how it would be connected...

The DP9 connector end of the USB to serial port adapter cable plugs into the DP9 connector end of our LED sign serial cable.  This USB adapter cable is also available as part of our LED Sign USB Kit.  The kit includes this LED Sign USB Adapter cable, our LED Sign Cable and our LED Sign Software XL.

Installation

When the USB adapter cable is plugged into the USB port on a PC, it is recognized as a new device, and a request is made to insert the provided software driver CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive.  After following the on-screen installation instructions, the USB adapter cable is ready to be used.
