The software let's you create eye-catching messages using any of the functions found on your sign's wireless keypad, but now you can just type in the messages using your PC's keyboard.  Then, save your messages to a file for later access or for backup.  We've created Example Messages that can be used as starting points for your messages.

Easy To Use

The program is easy to use.  Once you have entered your messages, one click of the Send button sends them to the sign.  The program's fast edit and send cycle, lets you adjust messages, scrolling speeds, wait times, character sizes, colors and transitions, to get the desired effects you want, quickly.  To speed up the editing of long messages, you can select to send just a portion of your message, and instantly see how just that portion will display on your LED sign.

Graphic Characters

Define your own graphic characters and place them in your messages.  Combine multiple characters to create larger graphics.  Creating the characters is as simple as clicking dots on the screen.

When you're happy with your messages, save them to a text file for later use and for backup purposes.  Since the saved message files are standard text files (i.e. *.txt), you can email them to colleagues for review.

Control LED Signs Around The World

The XL software lets you specify the 'Send To' address for your messages, either in the message itself, or in your preferences.  The 'Send To' address can be a COM port, or a Web address.  Using a Web address along with our LED Sign Ethernet Kit, you can use the XL software to send messages to an LED sign that's in another building, or halfway around the world, via the Internet.

Definitions

The XL software's definitions feature lets you define shortcuts, to perform repetitive tasks.  For example you can set up the software to understand that {lobby} refers to the LED sign in your lobby, and that {sales} refers to the LED sign in your sales department.  Then by placing {lobby} or {sales} at the beginning of a message, the software will direct that message to the correct LED sign.

Timers

The XL software lets assign starting times for different messages, thus enabling you to have different messages display at different times of the day.

		Serial COM port, USB port, or Web address for message send
		Browser to view help files

Software Only

This is only the LED Sign Software XL program, and does not include the LED Sign Cable.  Add LED Sign USB Adapter for PC's with only USB ports.
