LED Sign Moving Message Display Model 228RSB

The Asayo LED Sign 228RSB uses super bright LED's and can be read in bright daylight conditions.  The sign is not weatherproof though, and it must be placed inside a display window, or in a weatherproof enclosure.  The 2" x 28" display can scroll one line of 16 characters, readable from 10 to 100 feet away in bright daylight conditions.

Easy to Use

One click on the remote keypad stops the current message from displaying.  A second click lets you type in or edit your message and add special effects.  Another click lets you view your new message.  No need to learn complicated programming procedures.

The LED Sign 228RSB can store up to 16 different message sequences.  Each message can be as long as memory will allow, up to 16,000 characters in length, and can have multiple messages and transitions sprinkled throughout.  You can also create your own graphic characters.

The sign saves its messages when off, up to 60 days.  This means your messages will not be not lost when power is interrupted.  Enter messages at home or in your office, and later take your sign to your office, retail location or trade show to display them.

There are 32 assignable timers you can use to display different message sequences at different times of the day.  For example, display a breakfast special from 8AM to 12PM, a lunch special from 12PM to 3PM, and a dinner special from 3PM to 10PM.

Keypad

Wireless Remote & Serial Port

You can control the LED Sign 228RSB up to 50 feet away with the wireless infrared keypad.  You do not need a computer to use this sign, everything can be entered and controlled by the keypad.

If you want to use a PC, the sign has a built-in RS232 serial port.  A separately available LED Sign Serial Kit lets you enter messages and control the sign via a PC.  A USB Adapter is available for PC's with USB ports.  An LED Sign Ethernet Kit is also available.

You can also develop your own computer software to control this or any other Asayo LED sign using our LED Sign Software Developers Kit (SDK).

Construction

The rugged LED Sign 228RSB is designed for 24-hour, 365-day use.  An aluminum outer case encloses industrial-quality red LED modules which are behind a protective plastic panel.  This tried and true design will provide years of hassle-free service!

Brightness

The LED Sign 228RSB uses Super Bright LED's and is designed to be visible from outside, during daylight conditions.  It is not weatherproof, so sign must be placed in a display window, or in a weatherproof enclosure.

The sign has a 30 degree super bright angle of view and has a regular brightness angle of view of 60 degrees.
